Clevis Pins
Clevis pins are exceptionally strong pins that can be used in place of rivets or bolts as a quick and secure fastener. They can be made out of a variety of materials, including Zinc clevis pins which are commonly used for their strength, lightweight, and resistance to heat. They are designed with a flat head on one end and cross-hole at the other, allowing a clevis pin to be inserted through the holes at the pronged ends of a clevis and kept in place by a cotter pin. A clevis pin is also commonly used in the design of vehicles such as trucks, cars, and even planes. These pins provide a secure connection between components while still allowing for a small range of movement, meaning that they are much less likely to be affected by any types of vibrations from the engine or while on the road. Because the clevis pin can be used as a securing device in so many different applications, these pins come in a variety of sizes. At Clips & Fasteners we carry clevis pins in a variety of sizes, ranging from ¼” X 1” all the way to ½” X 1-¾”. Get small clevis pins designed for automotive use.
