Torx Head Screws
A Torx head screw (also called a hexalobular screw) is characterized by its six-lobed star shaped pattern on the head. The reason for this unusual head shape is because it allows the Torx screw to withstand higher torques than internal hex of the same size without camminging-out or slipping. In fact, the vertical sidewalls maximize tool engagement and produce no cam-out forces to push the driver out of the screw head. This results in less fatigue and is less likely to damage the driver or driven screw.
At Clips & Fasteners, we can supply the auto Torx head screws you need for a variety of vehicles including Buick, Chevrolet, Saturn, Saab, VW, Porsche, Audi and BMW. You'll find we carry a number of different sizes of black Torx screws, including small Torx screws, made from zinc. Choose from 20mm Torx truss head screws or 18mm and 19mm Torx truss head tapping screws. Each selection is sold in packages of 25. See each item for specifics on which vehicle they're used as replacements.
