We stock a complete selection of high-quality universal terminals for car batteries in a wide variety of gauges and with eyelets sized to fit various assorted battery terminal posts. Automobile battery terminals may be sized in any of the following: 1/4, 5/16, 3/8 or 1/2. We have eyelets to fit each of these stud sizes, in both solid electrolytic copper and solid electrolytic tinned copper.
These battery connectors all meet UL requirements and are attached to your battery wire using the W49C7 crimper. Manufactured by Clipsandfasteners Inc TM, they are designed to fit a wide range of wire sizes (gauges), including 8, 6, 4, 2 and 1 gauge. With the AWG (American Wire Gauge) system, the larger the gauge number the smaller diameter the wire. You'll also find eyelets designed for the following gauge wires: 1/0, 2/0, 3/0 and 4/0 gauge. With these x/0 designations, the number before the / designates the number of zeros in the wire gauge. As an example, 3/0 equals 000 gauge, also called three aught wire.
